Davina started her morning at Blue Valley’s charming cottage before moving to the bridal suite for final touches. Sunlight filled the suite, creating soft, flattering light for getting ready and portrait photos.

Franck prepared in the Cave, a private room connected to the Barrel Room, before stepping outside for portraits overlooking the mountains in the afternoon light.

Outdoor Ceremony with Mountain Views in Delaplane, VA


The couple exchanged vows with the Blue Ridge Mountains as their backdrop. This ceremony location is one of the most breathtaking in Northern Virginia. The mountains stretch behind the altar, and as the sun begins to soften in the late afternoon, the entire space glows.


The floral design complemented the natural landscape, enhancing the elegance without competing with the scenery. It was the perfect balance of refined and organic.

One of my favorite parts of any wedding at Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery is the sunset portraits. The rolling hills and vineyard rows create depth and dimension in photographs that you simply cannot replicate at other venues.


As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the light turned golden and wrapped the couple in the most romantic glow. These are the kinds of portraits that feel editorial yet timeless, and they are one of the many reasons couples choose a scenic wedding in Delaplane, Virginia.
