Please set up near the largest window in the room
I love making sure brides have beautiful pictures that they'll cherish forever! Let's start with lighting. Lighting is everything! Beautiful light makes a huge difference in photography. Make sure you're near the biggest window in the room. Ask your hair and makeup team to set up near a window. If you choose a dark corner to do your makeup, it won't be ideal for your makeup artist or photographer.
If you don't have large windows in your suite, I always come prepared with camera flash!
Please save a clean space for photos
Have your bridesmaids and groomsmen store their personal belongings in one place out of the way. Distractions in the background can ruin a beautiful photograph.
Please have your bride squad get ready before they help you into your dress
This is a nice touch for brilliant photos with the girls while they help you into your gown!
Please Gather Your Wedding Details in One Place
I love knocking out your wedding detail photos first. It's a great time to get shots of what you'll be wearing on your big day and also if you're still in the beginning of hair and makeup. If you have a fabulous pair of shoes, jewelry or something special you would like photographed, set those items aside in one location ahead of time. Have you thought about if you would like your items photographed by themselves or while you put them on? Let me know beforehand so I can spend more time getting the images you'll love!
Please have an idea for any activities you would like to do with your bridal party or groomsmen
I want you to get the most out of your photography session. Preparation is key! Gift exchange? Maybe a letter reading or prayer? Did somebody say shots?!
