After selecting your package and customizing it to your needs, I'll send you a contract. At the time of signing, there is a 50% retainer to save your date!

3. ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Practice makes perfect! Have some fun and feel more confident with a session before the wedding day. We'll get to know each other and establish rapport and trust. Come wedding day, I won't be just another vendor. I'll be a friendly face and someone you're excited to share your day with.

4. THE BIG DAY
It's finally here! Whether you're having an elopement ceremony or a full-day celebration, it's time for me to capture your day as it unfolds. I'll be sure to document your day, candid moments, and direct when necessary!

How much do you charge?
Portrait sessions start at 750. Full wedding coverage begins at 7500. Destinations start at 5500.

What are your payment terms?
Upon signature of the contract, a retainer of 50% will be due to secure your special day. The remaining balance is due 60 calendar days prior to the wedding date.
Are there any hidden or additional fees?
There are no hidden or service fees. All fees (travel, shipping, etc.) are built into your custom proposal price. The only time this price will change is if additional services or products are added on after the initial booking.
Once I book, am I able to enhance my package?
Absolutely. We understand things change during the wedding planning process.

When will we get our pictures?
Engagement Sessions: 2-3 weeks
Weddings: 6-8 weeks.

How many images will I receive?
On average you’ll receive 80-100 images per hour of shooting. I do snap more than that but I do you the favor of taking out the outtakes like blinks, test shots, duplicates, etc. All the images are edited for color, exposure, sharpness and white balance.

How are our images secured?
Throughout your wedding day, your images are captured on two separate memory cards. Immediately after the wedding, we backup your images to multiple hard drives.

What is your editing process?
All images in your gallery will be edited to our style (color correction, tones, sharpness, etc)
For more intimate portraits, such as bride & groom portraits, the photos are retouched in more detail.

I have downtime between events on my wedding day. Will I be charged for that downtime?
For a variety of reasons, we have to charge for the time between events. Whether we’re traveling to the second location, setting up gear, taking venue shots, backing up images, or making up for lost photo time because of unforeseen wedding day delays, we are active. In many cases, we use “downtime” to edit a same-day sneak peek gallery.
We would like a second shooter at our wedding. Do you have a team you work with?
Absolutely! We have an incredible team of first and second shooters. All of the images taken from your big day will be professionally retouched in the same editing style you see on our website.

What happens if the photographer is ill?
While it is unlikely that the photographer happens to get ill on your wedding day, there is still a chance. It is crucial that the photography studio does something to take care of the situation in case of illness. Deanna Did That Photography has three equally skilled master photographers that can take over in case someone is sick.

What if we have to reschedule our wedding?
In the event of a postponement for any reason, we will do our best to accommodate your new wedding date. The alternative dates offered will depend on our availability and the nature of the original wedding date. If we are unable to accommodate the new wedding date due to an existing conflict, we will substitute a lead photographer, along with a second photographer. All team members have been trained to uphold the Deanna Did That Photography standard.

Do you travel outside of DC, MD, and VA? If so, what are your travel fees?
Yes! We require roundtrip flight and hotel coverage for Deanna (lead photographer) and second photographer, as well as hotel (minimum 2 nights) and ground transportation for 50 per day.

How do I book?
We will send over a formal proposal that allows you to build your package. After that, an invoice and contract will be automatically generated for you to sign and make the retainer.
